A Dog Trainers Job Is Not To Train Your Dog

Any trainer can get a dog to sit if you hand them the lead. But that doesn’t help you.

Our job as trainers and pet coaches is to give YOU- the tools you need in order to train your dog.

Even if you employed a trainer to come train your dog every, single day – that’s just 1-2 hours a day.
You are with your dog for the additional 24 hours. If you have not been given those tools to succeed when the trainer leaves, your progress with your dog will be slow and mostly unsuccessful.

Our job as trainers is to communicate with owners, help give you the tools to succeed, help you understand your dog and why behaviors happen.
A great trainer doesn’t even need the dog in the room for most training- they just need to communicate to the humans in an understandable and clear way.

Dog training is really a misnomer- we are human trainers and here for you every step of the way.
